Window Gaze

Window Gaze is an exploration of the act of looking. This project investigates how we perceive and construct visual information. Moving imagery is projected onto window-like frames, which are physically taken apart as the frames act as filters. These shifting filters create new perspectives, deconstructing the whole image into its constituent parts. To gaze at something is to automatically see a whole that is constructed out of parts.
